52 Portraits Project – 20/52

Welcome to week twenty (WoooHooo) of my 52 Portraits Project.  If you have missed the earlier weeks start at week 1 here, which includes more information about the project.

20/52. Chef. We are a family who loves to cook, and watch TV shows about cooking.  Rachel you have inherited your mum and dad’s love of food, handed down from my mum and my gran.  One day we will cook Ukrainian food together.  While other kids can name singers and boy bands, you know the TV celebrity chefs and their specialty.  So how excited were we to find Adriano Zumbo (your hero) had released a do-it-at-home version of his famous macarons.  And your favourite flavour – salted caramel.  They may not have looked exactly like the cafe variety but they tasted soooooo gooood!

52 Portraits Project – 19/52

19/52. Little. I forget that you are still so little, but also growing, maturing, experiencing and becoming more aware of the world every day.  But you are still so little.  I need to remind myself to be gentle with you but also to honour you as the thoughtful, courageous, empathetic girl you are and are becoming.  But you are still so little.  I cherish those moments where I still feel that.  One day you will want more of your private space, and your private time, deep in your own thoughts.  I love that I can still sit and watch you in the bath, free and innocent and capture a glimpse of the baby you were and the girl you are.  My sweet little one.

Family Portraits at the beach – part 2

I love it when my favourite images from a shoot also turn out to be some of my client’s favourites.  Those images seem to stand out.  They capture a mood, a relationship, a connection, and that is a wonderful feeling.  I love my job!
Time is running out, so if you are interested in booking my Spring Special photo shoot in time for Christmas, please get in touch.

Family portraits at the beach

My favourite thing to shoot.  And it was the perfect morning with high cloud, no rain, few people, and great light.  Not to mention my gorgeous clients.  Mum is an Interior Designer and so I anticipated great outfits to suit the location.  I wasn’t disappointed.

This family booked a special pre-Christmas offer I am running for our pre-school.  We had such fun and there are so many images I love from the shoot.  Here is a little sample of some of my favourites.  I hope you like them too “Family D”.  (Please click the image to enlarge and sharpen).Remember, if you are interested in booking a photo shoot in time for Christmas, get in touch with my Spring Special.  Only 6 and a bit weeks until Christmas.

52 Portraits Project – 18/52

Welcome to week eighteen of my 52 Portraits Project.  If you have missed the earlier weeks start at week 1 here, which includes more information about the project.

18/52. Show Time. You love to put on a show for us and if it involves the neighbours and their dog – all the better. You made a ticket and set out seats and the mums and little sisters arrived spot on 5.30pm. You demonstrated dog skills and tricks with your “willing” accomplice. You shared the limelight and even had audience participation. The finale needed some work, but you had fun, and so did we. I love your ideas, your planning, your confidence and your spirit.
