A perfect afternoon

I have a brother, who I both loved and hated as a kid.  I cannot imagine not having a brother and now that we are adults and both parents, our relationship is something I treasure.  Now, as a mother, I have two girls, and no son, and I wonder what having a son would have been like.

I recently had a taste of what a mother and son relationship is like when I had the honour of photographing a gorgeous mum and her little boy.  They laughed, giggled, connected and loved in a way that was so beautiful and genuine.  She is a passionate, generous, breath of fresh air and he is the most handsome, open, happy and loving little guy.  I loved him so.

Here are some of my favouites from our session.IMG_4474.RcropIMG_4275.R IMG_4265.RBWIMG_4409.RcropIMG_4345.RBWcropIMG_4497.RcropIMG_4510.R IMG_4527.R
